Stolen Legacy is a classic and is indirectly related to some of Mrs. Banks' ideas. However, in the book the Darkest this quote made me see stars. I suspect that she did not want to offend white readers, and most Black readers don't know history so would not know any better. I highly recommend Stolen Legacy once you get through the entire series. Mr. James uses repetition to make the point that there is no such thing as Greek mythology. It's the Greeks going to Africa, specifically Kemet, and stealing their ideas, Gods, philosphy, arts, and sciences and calling it their own.
If you can read Mrs. Banks, you sure to be able to read Stolen Legacy.
